Time tracking and invoice management has always been a difficulty of mine to manage. I’ve always struggled with accurately being able to track and compare my estimate costs VS. my actual time spent on a project. I’ve found with the use of Harvest, I’m less stressed and feel that I have a better grip of my projects, enabling me to manage expectations a whole lot better. Here’s a few reasons why I recommend the use of Harvest.
Usability
Over the past year or so, Harvest has made great improvements to their overall UI, as well as their general usability of the services they offer. As a relatively new user, Harvest is quite intuitive. I was easily able to integrate it into my regular work flow.
Features
It’s really great when you can have an all-in-one tool that allows you to track time, manage contacts, create estimate, create invoice, generate reports, manage projects and more. Having a tool that allows me to manage all aspects of my freelance business results in more productive time.
Add-Ons
Harvest integrates with all mobiles devices and most major web applications that are commonly used in the web field such as Google Apps, Basecamp, Quickbooks, Highrise, WordPress, and much more. And if you’re interested in checking out their API, take a look at how cool it really can be. Barrel did an amazing job at integrating Harvest to display useful information.
These are just a few of the benefits that I’ve encountered during the few months that I’ve been using Harvest. I would recommend checking out their website to view more information about their service.
